The Drill-Powered-Vehicle Project was a quarter-long endeavor that emphasized designing for speed, functionality, and aesthetics. Our instructions were broad — build a vehicle with three or more wheels that is solely powered by a hand drill and is safe to ride. We had a five person team: Maggie Papka (Design Engineer), Daniel Martinez (Design Engineer), Matt Lundgren (CAD Engineer), Ariel Tolentino (Manufacturing Engineer), and me (Project Manager). As project manager, I lead team meetings, maintained a Gantt chart, and ensured parallel processes ran smoothly so we hit milestones and deadlines.
